The Southern California Council of Phi Mu was established over a half-century ago to coordinate the efforts of all Southern California Chapters to:

• Celebrate Phi Mu's Founders' Day together, generally on the first Saturday in March
  
  
• Support our Collegiate Chapters & House Corporations
  
  
• Support the Philanthropic Activities of each Chapter
  
  
• Plan special functions in which all chapters will participate
  
  
• Maintain open communication among all chapters
  
  
• Determine ways in which, by acting in unison, Phi Mu's position in our communities may be strengthened
  
  
• Encourage the purposes and ideals of Phi Mu Fraternity, and to function by the rules in the Fraternity's Constitution and Bylaws and Standing Rules and Procedures
